WHO WE ARE:

HALT (Help Animals Lives Today) We are an Volunteer Organization dedicated to:

·      The welfare of companion animals and the sheltering and placement of these animals

·       The prevention of cruelty to animals and of pet over population

·       Providing educational programs on responsible pet ownership and adoption, spay and neuter benefits

·       Creating paid foster homes for pets with planned pet trust funds

·      Secure and plan for your pet's future if you become unable to take care of them.

WORK

We rescue and shelter unwanted, homeless and abused animals, more than 700 per year, we provide them with needed medical treatment; and find them homes locally or transport them to a no-kill adoption centers in other areas.  When needed, we also rehabilitate them to become eligible for adoption.

VISION

To end of euthanasia of adoptable animals and the creation of a no-kill sanctuary for thoseanimals who are un-adoptable due to age or physical condition.

Donations Needed:

HALT survives on Volunteers, Donations and Adoption Fees.  These Adoption Fees which includemedical fees does not cover the cost of Veterinary Fees. In addition to Veterinary Fees there is the costof feeding the animals, grooming, and transporting animals to and from the Veterinarians Office.  HALTalso transports animals to no- kill shelters.

every Saturday between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

PLUS our Sanctuary is open to the public from Monday thru Friday (closed Sunday)
between 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (By Appointment Only)

COME BY AND VISIT US AT ANY OF OUR LOCATIONS

* We are an all-breed rescue and have dogs and cats of many sizes and breeds.  These pets come from many different situations and are all waiting for their new forever home.  All pets have been microchipped.

Requirements for adoptions:
•  All applications must be reviewed before any adoption can occur.
•  We do not adopt if you have any unaltered pets in your home.
•  All pets from us must be micro chipped.
•  Current rental agreement is required with adoption application.
•  Any children in the home must be at least 4 years old.

Support our Organization by becoming a member:

As a member, you will receive a Membership Card. The card will act as a notification to emergency responders that you have pets at your home and will need to be cared for in the event you are in the hospital or care facility.
