MCC Student Nurse Association
The Student Nurses’ Organization is Mohave Community College’s registered nursing program’s community service organization; SNA is essentially the student club for nursing school! SNA does a wide variety of things throughout each semester including civic service projects like blood drives, bone marrow registry drives, sock drives for children, food drives, and more; we even have an annual Haunted Hospital for the public to tour with free blood pressure screenings!
The Student Nurses’ Organization offers scholarships each semester to SNA members, gains discounts for scrubs, medical equipment, and more, and allows members the opportunity to attend state and national conferences too. SNA is a great way to gain a closer rapport with nursing faculty, work closely with fellow students, build leadership skills, and participate in projects great for resumes and scholarships. Most importantly of all, SNA allows you to give back to the community that does so much for its people. After all, isn’t that what nursing is all about? Students completing their pre-requisites for nursing and those presently in the program are welcomed to join the Student Nurses’ Organization and attend our fall meetings (see below for dates, times & locations).Welcome to nursing, and welcome to SNA!
